1. Interview (virtually)

We get to know each other

In your first interview, we will give you an insight into cflox and how we work, and we would be delighted if you could form an impression of us in advance. It is particularly important for us to learn more about your motivation. In addition, we will talk in detail about your career to date and technical issues, and together we will find out how we fit together. Of course, there will also be plenty of time for your questions – the topics that are important to you should not be neglected.

2. Interview (in person)

We go into more detail

In this conversation, we go into more detail about the technical aspects. To prepare for this, we may send you a small task in advance. You will also get to know other colleagues from the team. Together, we will discuss example tasks from everyday work, which will give you an even clearer picture of what our collaboration could look like.

3. Interview (virtually)

We clarify any outstanding questions

If there is still a need for clarification after the previous discussions, we arrange another meeting. We address any outstanding issues and explore relevant topics in greater depth so that we can make an informed decision together.

The Coding Challenge is your chance to show us what you can! If we like what we see, we'll invite you to a technical interview where we can discuss your solution together. Of course, you'll receive professional feedback from us in any case, even if you don't make it to the next step.

In this interview, we pick up directly where you left off in your coding challenge. Together, we go through your solution, discuss your decisions and highlight possible optimizations or alternative approaches. We are particularly interested in how you approach problems and how you justify your decisions. You will also get to know other colleagues from the team and gain insights into how we work. This will give you a clear picture of what our collaboration could look like in practice.

Can I apply for a position if I do not meet all the requirements?

Yes, absolutely! If you find a position interesting, please apply even if you do not meet all the requirements. We will then check whether you are suitable for the role or whether there are other exciting opportunities available. Can't find a suitable position at the moment, but still want to join our team? Then we look forward to receiving your detailed speculative application.

Can I work 100% remotely?

We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid working model. Nevertheless, it is important to us that we can work together in the office. That is why we currently offer a working model with at least two office days per week, but you are also welcome to visit our office at any time on the other days.

Can I work part-time?

Yes, part-time work is generally possible at our company. Flexible working hours and individual time arrangements are important to us, so that we can work together to find the best solution for you and your future position. Feel free to apply for positions that do not quite match your desired number of hours. Simply let us know what you have in mind in your application. We will then work together to see if and how it fits.

How long will it take to receive a response?

Once we have received your application, we will review it carefully and usually get back to you within a few days. If we invite you for an interview, you will usually hear back from us within a few days, unless we have agreed otherwise.

What can I expect during the interview?

During the interview, it is important for us to get to know each other. We want to learn more about your professional background and motivation, but also get to know you better as a person – beyond what is in your CV. At the same time, we will share details about cflox and the position with you. There will always be time for your questions. Depending on the position, we may ask you to prepare a small task before the second interview.
